Embarq Corporation - This paragraph sounds more like an advertisement than something encyclopedic. Anyone agree?

Anyone know the significance of Andrew McBurney mentioned in the "famous people" section? --bfaist

He was the Lieutenant Governor of Ohio from 1866-1868.Carinemily02:26, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looking further I see conflicting middle intitals for him - some sites say "R" and others "G". Anyone have a reliable reference?Carinemily02:37, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Having grown up in this area, I've heard the city name pronounced as "LEB-nuhn" almost exclusively. I know it's not the "correct" pronounciation, but it is the one used locally.Carinemily

That is correct. You can tell when someone doesn't leave in or near Lebanon, Ohio, because they pronounce it like "Le-buh-none". I prefer our "incorrect" way of pronouncing it.Resiak

Neal Armstrong did not live in Lebanon, but lived outside of the City of Lebanon in Turtlecreek Township. Technicality or subject to correction?Mbeatty22:05, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit] Historic population figuresCan anyone update this section? Since the most current year was 1990. What was the number for 2000?Resiak—Precedingcomment was added at16:34, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

@Magnolia677: just curious, but could you explain why a bomb threat at City Hall would beWP:NOTNEWS for the cities history?Elijahandskip (talk)02:54, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In a video, "Indiana's Mysterious Mounds," it states that there is an earthen wall up to 25-feet tall, surrounding a large hilltop.71.32.82.105 (talk)11:28, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
