I propose mergingLake Shore into the History section of theLake Shore Limited, as aLake Shore subsection. The 1975 train is essentially just a restoration of the 1972 train but with a Boston section. The names are nearly identical. There's only a little info onLake Shore and it hasn't been substantively updated since 2010. I doubt the page could be greatly expanded since the train only existed two years. People would benefit from getting the full story on one page.QuincyMorgan (talk)00:05, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't be opposed to a merger. Sanders gives theLake Shore about a page - enough to add another paragraph or two, but not so much that a merge would be unwieldy.Pi.1415926535 (talk)02:33, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback, I performed the merge. I wouldn't be opposed to splitting it back out in the future if more content became available than could fit comfortably in the section.QuincyMorgan (talk)17:46, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In the route diagram the linked page for Dunkirk station directed to a Dunkirk station in France, not New York.
I am new to editing, not sure how to edit it.

I don't love the (new) current image, but it's not really better or worse than the old one. What I'd like to see from the main image is the New York section with the Hudson River in frame. Non-free examples:[1][2]. Peekskill has some locations where you could get a shot like that, but probably not until the next DST change in the spring. It's going to be too dark by the time either the north or southbound trains come through.Mackensen(talk)00:50, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
