Nevermind. Somehow I missed the brief mention of this here. Carry on. :D woo
Hi. I'm Wikipedia admin, mostly inactive these days. I'm also an actor IRL, and I just finished performing inThe Great American Mousical at Legacy Theatre in Branford, CT, directed by Julie Andrews. This was the second full production of this play, based on the book of the same title she wrote with her daughterEmma Walton Hamilton. Julie also directed the first production of this play atGoodspeed Musicals'Norma Terris Theatre in 2012.
I think this play (both productions) is worth a mention in this article, but since I have an obvious COI I won't add it myself. (Someone else can add{{Connected contributor}} to this page.)
I suggest the following wording, to be placed towards the end of the "2000-present" section of the article:
If someone else thinks this is suitable and appropriately worded, please add it to the article. Thank you. —Josiah Rowe(talk •contribs) 17:30, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Josiah Rowe(talk •contribs)17:30, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
![]() | Thisedit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
As explained in the section above, I'm a sometime Wikipedian, and also an actor IRL. Last month I performed in a production ofThe Great American Mousical, directed by Julie Andrews. Hence my COI.
I suggest the following text be added in the "2000–present" section of the article:
Andrews has rarely directed, and I think it's noteworthy that she has directed two productions of this play, late in her career. Both productions were covered and reviewed in noteworthy, independent sources (more of which can be provided upon request, if needed).
(I made this request a bit more than a week ago, without the template, but it seems nobody saw it.)

These are the images that have recently alternated in the infobox. After the first one was changed to the one in the middle, I preferred a higher quality picture with a more identifiable Andrews from the same period, but this was reverted so I changed it back to the 2013 portrait.@Art Hansel: I’m not aware there are any guidelines on short text that doesn’t cover the face within a lead image. Could you please elaborate on that? ~IvanScrooge98 (talk)09:38, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
She technically had 5 children: daughter by first marriage, Blake Edwards’ two children, and their adopted twins.174.193.95.24 (talk)16:02, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
