So, I'm going to make some edits here... b/c while there is some good information, this reads WAY too much life a puff/promotional piece for Rev. Bryant and his congregation. Seriously... calling him "affable?" That may be true. It sure as heck doesn't belong in a Wikipedia article. And listing all of the times/stations to catch the church worship broadcast? But seriously, I don't even know where to start... this entire section is copied directly from his self-promotional website. Other edits of this day include checking sources, and finding that theBaltimore Sun citation—now quoted at length in the Footnote—did not support the statements to which it was attached. Also, Twitter and Youtube "URL-only" sources were moved to Further reading, leaving only one dead-link citation (Ebony), and the mis-construedBaltimore Sun citation whose use was corrected. (The one further "URL only" citation purporting to be an independent report of an interview, as yet not checked, is a dead link, and was moved with its content, into Talk, below, for its egregious BLP violations.)

Also noted that all information regarding children and paternity is unsourced—moved to Talk, below—which, alongside its plagiarism and notability issues, make this article a subject for complete blanking.

The following information appeared, prior to today, in the Personal life section of the article. It is moved here as inappropriate, as it involved minors, and other BLP individuals, and lacks any sources.

Bryant has a daughter, Topaz (born in 1998), with an Atlanta woman named Crystal Madison.^{[citation needed]}

He marriedHampton University graduate Gizelle Bryant in 2002. They have daughters Grace (born November 2004), and twins Angel & Adore (born April 2006).^{[citation needed]}

In summer 2007 rumors exploded in the church that Jamal had gotten a 17-year-old church member pregnant.^{[citation needed]} Church leaders asked him to step down while they initiated an investigation and awaited paternity test results.^{[citation needed]} Jamal only responded that it is a private matter.^{[citation needed]} Months after the investigation, Jamal Bryant remained the pastor of Empowerment Temple.^{[citation needed]}

In 2012, Jamal Bryant was interviewed by Roland Martin concerning his affair and divorce where Bryant confirmed that they were divorced,living together, good friends and were co-parenting their children well. He stated in the interview that had he not divorced her he knows he would have been unfaithful again.^{[1][full citation needed][verification needed]}
