Jade Castrinos (singer) →Jade Castrinos – At the time of this writing,Jade Castrinos redirects to theEdward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros-article. And according to thisJade Castrinos (singer)-article (at the time of this writing), Jade Castrinos is an early member of said band. I think it would be better if thisJade Castrinos (singer)-article was moved toJade Castrinos since this article (at the time of this writing) actually has "Jade Castrinos" in its title already. Furthermore, as far as I can tell, unless you count the redirect, Wikipedia does not (at the time of this writing) have any other articles calledJade Castrinos, so why disambiguate this article's title asJade Castrinos (singer) instead of just naming itJade Castrinos?Heart of Destruction (talk)19:21, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy move though there could be a history move but the base name doesn't appear to contain any useful history.Crouch, Swale (talk)19:42, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Support. This sort of request can be made uncontroversially atWP:RMT.162 etc. (talk)21:47, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment I note that the Jade Castrinos article was deleted in 2010. The currentJade Castrinos (singer) article appears to (barely) meetWP:BANDMEMBER, so it should probably stay unless someone brings it toWP:AFD.162 etc. (talk)21:49, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Support I'm not finding the guideline that says so, but we don't include disambiguators in titles that are unambiguous without them.Largoplazo (talk)21:53, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Support per nomination; Crouch, Swale; 162 etc. and Largoplazo. Uncontroversial technical request — sole such main title header, thus obviating need for the parenthetical qualifier "(singer)". —Roman Spinner(talk •contribs)23:33, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk)15:10, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
