The summary of "tidy" forthis edit byMsikhan1997 probably refers to the removal of blank spaces, but not the actual changes in text in the same submitted edit. Dropping prepositions and articles, as often done in text messaging, is not really making the sentence more "tidy", IMHO. The sentence seemed somewhat awkward with back-to-back verbs in past tense (died aged). I have restored "at the age of 92" to the end of the sentence. --PFHLai (talk)23:31, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Next question though,PFHLai and all: the spaces removed were intended to make headers more visible (accessible) in edit mode, such as === Later years === instead of ===Teaching, later life and death===.
I am not good in MoS, better in common sense. What I see is "was born in x-place on x-date". I think it makes sense to have similarly: "died in x-place on x-date". That's what I've seen in hundreds of biographies, in 15 years. Until a few days ago when I met a user who doesn't talk to me. Perhaps they will talk to you, - your message on their talk page stayed longer than any other. --Gerda Arendt (talk)16:34, 20 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly the ending "-ová" is pronounced exactly as in all other Czech names that have it.
"Tattermusch" is a German name, and there's a good chance that she pronounced her name exactly as in German, with the Czech ending tacked on.TooManyFingers (talk)04:21, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
