I am dubious that "Milo High" was the pilot's name.Brithgob20:44, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Here are links in support of "Milo High" being the pilot's name:

Not sure where to share this thought, so I'll do so here: How did it never occur to Elvis et al that the sandwich was quite simple and could be produced locally? Sure, the dive in Denver was "the place to be" but since they never left the airport they weren't exactly there. So what's the point? Too tough to figure out the oven, or describe the "delicacy" to a local restauranter?75.162.220.113 (talk)06:19, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This article is a good example of the wretched excesses of the man, which observers were well aware of during his life.

This is a discussion regarding the merger of this article withpeanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich. Discussion proposed byPuffin on 11:49, 21 August 2011. Discussion initiated byJerem43 on 15:39, Sunday September 4, 2011 (UTC).
The Fool's Gold Loaf did not contain bananas. So they are not the same thing. The Fool's Gold Loaf was a creation of The Colorado Mine Company, in Glendale, Colorado. The sandwich Elvis and his mother used to make around the house, according to his cousin Gene Smith, was simply a peanut butter and banana, because they were quick to make and they could make them themselves.— Precedingunsigned comment added by174.51.235.211 (talk)21:46, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've closed this as "no merge" - it was up for years and the only issue was the lack of sources. They are distinct topics and are not related in origin. I've added many sources and details making the merge discussion unnecessary.ChrisGualtieri (talk)18:37, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
