I don't feel like I'm the person to do it, but it seems like this article should be renamedF is for Family with a lowercase "i" in "is." MrBlonde267 andAdog I agree as well. However, a page move has been attempted twice already: once in 9 May 2015 byLogical Fuzz and then again in 9 January 2016 byEdfilmsuk. This would imply that both attempts were reverted for whatever reason. Since these attempts pre-date this rename consensus, I would hope that another attempt would stick. Done I have done the move, as per the above discussion and as perWP:LOWERCASE (part of the m,anual of style). We don't follow "official" capitalization, we use sentence case except in very unusual circumstances. Wrong. Just because you write it, doesn't make it true. Re: "consensus" - please read the above discussions where the word "agree" is used more than once. That forms a consensus. Second, this situation does not in any way go against WP policy becauseMOS:CT does not apply here. One does not correct the misspelled word in a title when it is found in a created work just to comply with WP policy. "That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works."MOS:CT is for writing articles, not for listing existing titled works such as TV series. There is absolutely nothing, not one thing, inWP:OFFICIALNAME that even comes remotely close to this discussion. You must provide other examples where theTitle of a work goes against WP policy (as you state here) and yet has been changed from its original title (grammatically) to appease such policy: i.e. FIs for Family. A proper RM was not held to move it from its longstanding title, and so it was moved back. The "agreement" between a handful of editors does not change this. Nothing was raised as to why this article should go against standard naming guidelines, so that's up to you to defend and gain a consensus for.MOS:CT clearly starts with[i]n titles, so yes, it applies to article titles. As forWP:OFFICIALNAMES, it also starts off with[p]eople often assume that, where an official name exists for the subject of a Wikipedia article, that name is ipso facto the correct title for the article, and that if the article is under another title then it should be moved. In many cases this is contrary to Wikipedia practice and policy. Hence, we do not title the article with a lowercase "is" solely because of it being Netflix's official title.Until then, the page should remain as is: I quite agree, it should remain as it has been titled since its creation. "Is" is not a preposition and is therefore capitalized in a title. How a series chooses to style its title name is irrelevant, as we go byMOS:CT here, which states to not capitalize prepositions, unless they are at the beginning or end of the title. The one exception being prepositions of more than four letters. In that case, we do capitalize them, at least by Wikipedia's standards. We don't put an article title all in capital letters if that's how a series styles its title logo. This is no different.Amaury •22:39, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
