It looks from my search as though it's not the same thing as neurilemma. Epineurium is around a whole nerve[1][2][3], whereas neurilemma (at least usually) is around an individual axon[4][5] as described in the articleneurolemma.dsws04:52, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I can't read your reference (don't have the book), but I suspect you're right, and the statement you're contesting is still here, years later. I find two additional relevant references having to do with the Transition Zone from the central nervous system to the peripheral, including some pictures, but I don't really understand them. They are:
