Midwest Emmys

the midwest emmys link in the regional emmys section leads to a page that describes the upper midwest chapter and not the chicago/midwest chapter. thus there is no page for the chicago chapter. is this because the midwest/chicago chapter's url is chicagoemmyonline (dot) org and the upper midwest chapter is midwestemmys (dot) org?— Precedingunsigned comment added by140.182.181.231 (talk)02:06, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Emmy Award →Emmy Awards – As I noted in the successful requested move of theTony Awards, the issue with the singular title is that firstly, the article is about a collective group of awards usually referred to in the plural unless a single category is being discussed in isolation. It's not about one single award, so the singular title is inappropriate. Also, as had been noted in the move of theAcademy Awards, the article is also about the awards ceremony, which is always in the plural. Consistency with those other two parts of the EGOT quartet behooves the reader and the encyclopedia.oknazevad (talk)01:48, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
