Original research?

I'm not sure what the author was going for at the beginning of this article when they say "At the time, I served in the S2 - Counter Espionage Section and was offered and declined the position before Barnett accepted the position in January 1959.", but it sounds like original research/testimony to me? I'm unsure how to fix it.Icanhasgramr (talk)21:05, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
