This article needs a clean-up: the first paragraph in particular is extremely awkwardly worded.
"The lack of community together with rising unemployment and crime saw the deterioration of the scheme back almost to the slum conditions it had been designed to replace" is hyperbole in: I've lived Castlemilk, and bas as it was at times, I think comparison to the pre-war Gorbals is pretty fatuous.86.0.203.12016:42, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Secondly what thisChateau Lait nonsense?? Must have been a student/West end joke. I lived in King's Park for 7 years and saw Castlemilk from my bedroom window every day and my Dad was minister of a Castlemilk church.
