Here's what I can find, mostly minor.
He played college football at Grambling State University,– don't most articles say "He played college football for the Grambling State Tigers"?
After going undrafted in the 2002 NFL draft,– it's up to you, but personally I say "unselected" rather than "undrafted", to avoid the word "draft" occurring twice in six words.
Spears was initially recruited by McNeese State University to play quarterback. However, he decided to attend Grambling State University as a defensive back.– something sounds off about saying he decided to "attend Grambling State University as a defensive back". Maybe "Spears was initially recruited by McNeese State University to play college football as a quarterback. However, he decided to play for the Tigers of Grambling State University as a defensive back" or something like that.
He was placed on injured reserve on April 5 and activated on April 24.– perhaps add year. Given that the previous sentence discusses his career as a whole, it isn't necessarily clear that this is referring to the 2004 season.
He was placed on physically unable to perform on January 4, 2006.[15] He was activated several days later on January 8, 2006.– these sentences could probably be combined.
The AFL folded after the 2008 season.
