Wikipedia pages on airports generally have a section on aviation incidents (e.g. crashes) that have occurred there. Unless Aspen is miraculously crash-free since its founding, it should have an incidents section as well. (I don't have the knowledge necessary to write such a section, but I'm sure that info would be available on the NTSB/FAA websites.)KBurchfiel (talk)04:31, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you to the person who made a bunch of changes from 205.170.51.30 on 24 August. If you can add some inline citations, that would be most helpful. Also, consider registering an account. You clearly have the knowledge and desire to contribute. S4n1HS22WMX695In (talk)01:57, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Irrelevant. That is the name of the airport, and therefore that is the name we should be using for the article. We do not get to make up spellings of items that have established names, like airports.Apteva (talk)05:29, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
MOS does not apply - it does not tell us how to spell airports, and as far as I have been able to determine, there are no proper nouns which include an endash, while there are many that use a hyphen. It would be wise to include the name of this airport as an example in the MOS, as suggested (spelled with a hyphen). Right now there are at least three examples in the endash section which are incorrectly spelled, using the wrong punctuation and/or the wrong capitalization (one is marked as under discussion). How is anyone to believe the MOS when it is riddled with errors?Apteva (talk)05:29, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Here is a proper name with en dash (Aspen–Pitkin County Airport). More books use slash than hyphen in styling this proper name, indicating a parallel relationship between the city and the county; that's the sort of relationship for which WP style uses the en dash.Dicklyon (talk)05:46, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
What is disruptive is someone else moving these to using an endash, when a hyphen is clearly called for. There are 9,000 airports, and none use an endash. These could have been combined, but are more easily discussed separately.Apteva (talk)21:59, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is never disruption to fix errors. It is, however disruption to introduce them. There are 9,000 airports, and none are spelled using an endash.Apteva (talk)06:09, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
