Zolpidem's description currently reads like an advertisement—Precedingunsigned comment added by160.39.208.29 (talk)15:38, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please go to the hyperemesis gravidarumtalk page if you have an opinion about whether cannabinoids can or should be mentioned in that article's subsection for related to antiemetic medicines. (Hyperemesis gravidarum is a severe form of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.) Medical marijuana was first mentioned in the article in 2007 but a small set of new editors since January 22 have decided to utterly remove all references to cannabinoids.JonathanFreed (talk)02:13, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have never heard that propofol, an anesthetic, has been used for nausea & vomiting. I have heard about benzodiazepines, but I do not think they use them in practice and also I am not aware of the mechanism of antiemetic properties neither of propofol, nor for benzodiazepines.688dim (talk)23:11, 31 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I deleted alprazolam from 5HT3 inhibitors. Furthermore, I've never seen a benzodiazepine used as an antiemetic.— Precedingunsigned comment added by24.46.47.18 (talk)18:09, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this article covers drugs only, but there exist non-drug antiemetic measures, and I wonder if the title should be changed to: Antiemetic remedies. So it could include measures such as diet, acupressure, etc., which have been recommended by the Amer Acad of Family Physicians as things to try first, before resorting to drugs, especially for pregnant women.Thinksthanks (talk)19:22, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Some drugs have their trade name bolded, while other do not. Is there a specific meaning to this?Pygos (talk)07:00, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
