This section should probably be re-written: "Following the publication of Interview with the Vampire, while living in California, Rice wrote two historical novels, The Feast of All Saints and Cry to Heaven, along with four erotic novels (The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty's Punishment, Beauty's Release, and Beauty's Kingdom) under the pseudonym A. N. Roquelaure"Beauty's Kingdom was written 30 YEARS after Beauty's Release, and is markedly different in content and tone. The way it's written right now suggests they were written in close succession, all in California. In fact she has moved many times in those 30 years.
