This article really needs a few more links and more precise terminology.
What is a "lung infection"? Does that refer to something as simple as a common cold, or does it refer to something more serious? And I can guess what a "vasoocclusive crisis" is, but it would be helpful to have a link to something that would give me more information - it is not helpful to define something in terms as complex as the original term.
