The description used to describe this commetrcial radio station appears to come straight from a commercial radio station promo material. Come on guys there must be something you can write about the history, audience demographic. Wasn't this station used to call out water side worker numbers during the depression?
4KQ was the station that called out the waterside workers numbers.4KQ was owned by the Australian Labour Party [the U was removed in the 1970's]. The numbers were called out each week morning well into the 1960's.— Precedingunsigned comment added by124.170.69.107 (talk)04:44, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
When I lived in Clontarf Beach we listened to 4BH.It was THE station to listen to.The legendary Bill Gates Promoter/discoverer of the BeeGees was the drive time presenter. This was in the period 1958 to 1965.How things change!I wonder where Bill Gates is now?He got me addicted to car racing at Lakeside and to commercial radio— Precedingunsigned comment added byWilesy01 (talk •contribs)15:35, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
