We seem to have an unnecessaryWP:Edit war starting here. Inthese edit notes I was accused of being aWP:Genre warrior by@Synthwave.94:. Let us review. First of all, this user introduced a source confirming this band as a power pop band. That's accurate, but in the same step, he removed the (much broader)new wave genre, a label that has ben on this article since2008. I replaced the removed content, leaving his supporting source for other content. He reverted (II) that saying it was unsourced. I produced a source, last.fm reporting this band appearing on an album entitled "New Wave Hits of the '70's and 80's." I think inclusion on a produced album of such a name is a pretty clear indication that this group can be considered part of the genre. I will note that genre is an opinion to begin with. If a commercial entity likeSony Music is going to spend its money producing an album with such a name in order to cater to genre recognizing clientele, certainly that is a clear indication that more than a few people hold the same opinion. HeWikilawyered the nature of the source, as if that will make the existence of this album go away. I found additional sources to verify the existence of the album. I useddiscogs, I could have also used[1]AllMusic. These are common sources for the music articles. I also showed anamazon.com listing selling the album. I added two more sources fromPopMatters andStereophile repeating the same opinion that the band is part ofnew wave. Notice all the blue links, these are not obscure sources. We now have multiple sources all disagreeing with his lone opinion. I'll pile on a few moreiTunes andpop shifter.
