Comment: Hook suggestions welcome. Re. alt1, one of the matches was in 1970 (albeit Christmas Day), but I felt getting a year in was important - the attendances are in the match summaries, let me know if this one isn't suitable for not being in prose. Alt2 could be an image hook (of the captain).
Article is new enough and long enough. No copy violation detected. Article is within policy. Hooks are interesting and the proper length. The only issues I have are with locating the hook facts within the actual article. The first hook is not explicitly clear in the prose text. It's not obvious that the 1971 diamond was specifically adopted again in the 2023 design the way the prose is currently worded in the article. As for Alt1, I could find no mention of crowd sizes at all in the article. That fact just isn't there currently. The only hook that is stated clearly in the article's current prose is Alt2. I am happy to approve it by assuming good faith on the foreign language cited source for verifiability, but that only leaves one hook option for the promoter. @Kingsif Do you want me to approve alt2 and forget about the others, or do you want me to wait and let you fix the issues with the other hooks before I approve this?4meter4 (talk)19:36, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@4meter4: I think alt0 is explicitly in the prose (…gained its own logo in 1971, a design featuring the FC Barcelona crest overlaid with an oversized diamond andIn 2023, FC Barcelona added a diamond overlay to the club logo…), and as noted in the nom comment, alt1 is in the match summary box templates. There are some sources that mention the attendances, so it could be added in prose, but it is in there. Of course, I am still a bit busy and I like alt2, so I am fine with that being approved if you think the others still need attention.Kingsif (talk)21:28, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
