Takuto Iguchi (井口 卓人,Iguchi Takuto, born February 13, 1988 inFukuoka,Japan) is a Japanese racing driver. He has competed in such series asSuper GT and theAll-Japan Formula Three Championship.
Takuto Iguchi began his motorsports career in 2000 withkart racing in his hometown ofFukuoka. Iguchi raced karts in various Japanese series, winning the FA class of theAll Japan Kart Championship in 2005.[1]
in 2006 and 2007 Iguchi raced in theFormula Toyota andFormula Challenge Japan series.
Iguchi moved toAll Japan Formula Three in 2008, racing forTOM'S. He finished sixth place in the 2009Macau Grand Prix, The highest place finish of any Japanese driver that year. Iguchi raced one season ofFormula Nippon in 2010 for Deliziefollie/Cerumo-Inging finishing thirteenth in the drivers' championship.
Takuto Iguchi began racing inSuper GT in 2008. He currently drives forR&D Sport in aSubaru BRZ[2]
Iguchi first took competed in the24 Hours Nurburgring in 2012 taking the SP3 class victory withGazoo Racing in aToyota 86.[3] Takuto Iguchi raced in the 2014 and 201524 Hours Nurburgring also for Gazoo, racing aLexus LFA CodeX in both races and won the SP-PRO class victory both years.
