Takpa people

Subgroup of Mongpa people

TheTakpa is a sub-group of theMonpa people, while the southern sub-group is identified as theTshangla. Monpas of the Takpa group are found inTawang andDirang ofArunachal Pradesh, India,Cuona ofTibet as well asTrashigang inBhutan.[1]
