Tadamori Ōshima (Japanese:大島 理森,Hepburn:Ōshima Tadamori, born September 6, 1946) is a formerJapanese politician who served as theSpeaker of the House of Representatives of Japan from 2015 to 2021. A member of theLiberal Democratic Party, he previously served as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and theMinister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. He is affiliated to the revisionist lobbyNippon Kaigi.[1][2]

A native ofHachinohe, Aomori and graduate ofKeio University, he worked at the national newspaperMainichi Shimbun from 1970 to 1974, and was elected to theAomori Prefectural Assembly in 1975.[citation needed] He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1983 after an unsuccessful run in 1980.

After his political career, he was appointed as a member of theYokozuna Deliberation Council in January 2023.[3]
