Tackey Chan(陳德基[1]) is an American politician currently serving in theMassachusetts House of Representatives. He is aQuincy resident and a member of theDemocratic Party.[2] He andDonald Wong were the first Asian-Americans elected to theMassachusetts General Court.[3] Chan was born and raised in the Wollaston section of Quincy.[4] He attended theNew England School of Law.[5]

He first won election to the state legislature in the fall of 2010 and took office in the spring of 2011. He ran again in 2012, 2014, and 2016, winning each time unopposed.[citation needed]
