Hard To Kill is aprofessional wrestling premium live event produced byTotal Nonstop Action Wrestling, which is annually held during the month of January. The event was first held in 2020 and has since become one of the promotion's "Big Four" events (along withRebellion,Slammiversary, andBound for Glory).[1]
Theinaugural Hard To Kill event took place on January 12, 2020, atThe Bomb Factory inDallas,Texas, whereTessa Blanchard became the firstKnockout to win theImpact World Championship by defeating the reigning champion,Sami Callihan, in the main event.[2][3] Since of April of that year, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in the United States, Impact had to present the majority of its programming from abehind closed doors set at Skyway Studios inNashville, Tennessee.[4] Thesecond Hard To Kill event, which took part on January 16, 2021, at the Skyway Studios, saw the revival of theImpact Knockouts Tag Team Championship, whereFire 'N Flava (Kiera Hogan andTasha Steelz) won the titles by defeatingHavok andNevaeh in the finals of an eight-team tournament, being the first champions since 2013.[5][6][7]
Thethird Hart To Kill event, which took place on January 8, 2022, atThe Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas, saw the return of live attendance.[8][9] Thefifth event took place on January 13, 2024, and was the first premium live event of the rebranded and revived Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling banner.[10]
