TheSyrian Committee to Help Iraq was a political movement created in 1941 to supportIraq against the British during theAnglo–Iraqi War of 1941.[1] It sent weapons and volunteers to fight alongside Iraqi forces against the British.[1] It was organized and led byArab Ihya Movement (later known as the Arab Ba'ath Movement) leaderMichel Aflaq.[1]Zaki al-Arsuzi opposed the organisation.
