Town of ancient Caria

Syangela (Ancient Greek:Συάγγελα) was a town ofancient Caria. It was apolis (city-state)[1] and a member of theDelian League, appearing in tribute lists ofancient Athens.[2] It, along withMyndus, avoidedsynoecism intoHalicarnassus whenMausolus united other ancient cities into Halicarnassus.[3]

Its site is located nearKaplan Dağ,Asiatic Turkey.[4][5]
