Svenstrup is a town inAalborg Municipality with a population of 8,001 (2025),[1]Region Nordjylland in Denmark. It is located 10 km south ofAalborg's city centre and 3 km south of the southern outskirts of the city.
Svenstrup is served bySvenstrup railway station on theRanders–Aalborg railway line.[3] The station re-opened in 2003.
TheBattle of Svenstrup was fought during theCount's Feud in 1534 on the fields just outside Svenstrup.
