Suyash Sharma (born 15 May 2003) is an Indian cricketer, who is aleg spinbowler. He plays forDelhi cricket team in domestic cricket[1] andRoyal Challengers Bengaluru in theIndian Premier League (IPL).
Sharma hails fromBhajanpura inNorth East Delhi.[2] He developed his bowling action under the guidance of his childhood coach Suresh Batra.[3] He initially used to play cricket atMadras Club and DDCA club-cricket competitions.[4]
In December 2022, Sharma was bought by theKolkata Knight Riders at a price of ₹20lakhs to play for them in theIndian Premier League.[5] He made hisTwenty20 debut on 6 April 2023, againstRoyal Challengers Bengaluru in the2023 Indian Premier League.[6] The leg spinner impressed on his debut match,[7] picking up three wickets guiding his team to an 81-run victory.[8] His bowling figures of 3 for 30 were also the second best for aspinner on IPL debut.[9] On 17 October 2023, he made his debut for Delhi and took his maiden T20five-wicket haul againstMadhya Pradesh in the2023–24 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.[10] He made hisList A debut for Delhi on 23 November 2023, againstBihar in the2022–23 Vijay Hazare Trophy.[11]
In the 2025 IPL auction, Suyash was picked by RCB for 2.6 crores. He was a part of the team that had won the 2025 IPL title.
