Susan Margaret Auch (born March 1, 1966) is a Canadian former speed skater who competed in fiveWinter Olympics, winning bronze in the 3000m relay at the1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, and the silver in the 500 m events at the1994 Winter Olympics inLillehammer, Norway and the1998 games atNagano, Japan.[1] In 1999, Auch announced her retirement from competition, but changed her mind and competed in a fifth Winter Olympics, the2002 games atSalt Lake City, but didn't reach the podium and retired after those games.

Winnipeg'slong track speed skating oval is the "Susan Auch Speed Skating Oval."[2]

She was inducted into theManitoba Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in 2003,[3] theCanadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 2010, andCanada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.

She ran as aProgressive Conservative in Winnipeg'sAssiniboia constituency during the2011 Manitoba provincial election but came in second to the incumbentNew Democratic Party legislatorJim Rondeau.

She ran as anindependent candidate in the2025 by-election in Winnipeg'sTranscona constituency, which was called shortly after the death ofNello Altomare.[4] Auch finished in Fourth place with 208 Votes.
