Sus (French pronunciation:[sys];Basque:Xütxe) is acommune in thePyrénées-Atlantiquesdepartment andNouvelle-Aquitaineregion of southwesternFrance. The town is located on the borders ofSusmiou,Gurs andNavarrenx. The population was 377 as of 2019.[3]

Sus is in theOloron-Sainte-Marie arrondissement in the southern part ofNouvelle-Aquitaine. Sus is 1.4 km (0.9 mi) fromSusmiou, 1.8 km (1.1 mi) fromNavarrenx, 2.5 km (1.6 mi) fromGurs, 13.2 km (8.2 mi) fromMourenx, 32.1 km (19.9 mi) fromPau, and 60.8 km (37.8 mi) fromBayonne. It sits west of theGave d'Oloron river. On the opposite side of the river isJasses.
