TheSurface Laptop Go is aportable computer introduced byMicrosoft in October 2020. The laptop was designed to be a more affordable option of Microsoft'sSurface lineup ofPersonal computing devices.[1] It was announced alongside updatedSurface Pro X models and several Surface accessories on 1 October 2020. Retail availability began on 13 October 2020.[2]
The Surface Laptop Go was available in 3 colors: Platinum, Ice Blue and Sandstone.[3]
The screen features a 12.4-inch display at 1536 × 1024 in a 3:2 aspect ratio, with a 10-point touchscreen and no support for theSurface Pen.[4][5]
The Surface Laptop Go features a 10th-generation Ice Lake Intel Core i5 processor paired with integratedIntel UHD Graphics.
In terms of ports, the Surface Go contains 1USB-C and 1USB-A port, alongside aheadphone jack and a Surface Connect port for charging. The laptop also has support forWi-Fi 6 andBluetooth 5.[6]
All Surface Laptop Go models come preinstalled withWindows 10 Home inS Mode and a 30-daytrial ofMicrosoft Office 365. Business models come preinstalled withWindows 10 Pro.[7][8]
