Surayhin (Arabic:سريحين, also spelledSerihin) is a village in northwesternSyria, administratively part of theHama Governorate, southeast ofHama. Nearby localities includeal-Jajiyah to the north,al-Jinan to the southeast,al-Buraq to the south,Maarin al-Jabal to the southwest andal-Khalidiyah to the west. According to theCentral Bureau of Statistics, Surayhin had a population of 7,466 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlySunni Muslims.[2]
