Surapet, also known asSurapattu andSurapedu, is a neighbourhood in northwesternChennai,India. Surapet is bordered byPuzhal in the north,Kolathur in the east,Puthagaram in the south, andPuzhal Lake in west.
The proposed second phase of theChennai Metro has three lines. The third line is fromMadhavaram Milk Colony toSholinganallur. In that line, the proposedRetteri Metro Station andKolathur Metro Station are 3 km away from Surapet.
