TheSupervisory and Judicial Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress (Chinese:全国人民代表大会监察和司法委员会;pinyin:Quánguó Rénmín Dàibiǎo Dàhuì Jiānchá Hé Sĩfǎ Wěiyuánhuì) is one of tenspecial committees of theNational People's Congress, the national legislature of thePeople's Republic of China.
The special committee was created as the Internal and Judicial Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress during the first session of the7th National People's Congress in March 1988, and has existed for every National People's Congress since.[1] it was renamed to the Supervisory and Judicial Affairs Committee in as part of thedeepening the reform of the Party and state institutions.[2]
