From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Efficacy spectrum of receptor ligands.

In the field ofpharmacology, asuperagonist is a type ofagonist that is capable of producing a maximal response greater than theendogenous agonist for the targetreceptor, and thus has anefficacy of more than 100%.[1][2] For example, goserelin is a superagonist of thegonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor.
