Sulur (Tamil:சூலூர்) is alegislative assembly constituency in theIndian state ofTamil Nadu.[2][3] Its State Assembly Constituency number is 116. It comprises theTown Panchayat ofIrugur,Kannampalayam,Mopperipalayam,Pallapalayam,Samalapuram andSulur. It also has Karumathapatti municipality and VillagePanchayat ofSulur Block andSultanpet Block surrounding areas inCoimbatore. It was formed for the second time in 2008 and is part ofCoimbatore Lok Sabha constituency.[4][5] It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu.
