Success (2021 population:45) is aspecial service area in theCanadian province ofSaskatchewan within theRural Municipality of Riverside No. 168 andCensus Division No. 8. It held village status between 1912 and 2022.
Success incorporated as a village on October 25, 1912.[1] It restructured on July 15, 2022, relinquishing its village status in favour of becoming aspecial service area under the jurisdiction of the RM of Riverside No. 168.[2]
Success is along theGreat Sandhills Railway line andHighway 32. TheSuccess Power Station operated bySaskPower is near the community.
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Success had a population of45 living in18 of its25 total private dwellings, a change of0% from its 2016 population of45. With a land area of 1.36 km2 (0.53 sq mi), it had a population density of33.1/km2 (85.7/sq mi) in 2021.[3]
