Bharathi Bhuvania (néePandey; 18 July 1975[1]) widely known by her stage nameSubhashri is an Indian former actress known for her works inTelugu,Tamil,Kannada, andMalayalam language films.[1] She is the sister of south actressMalashri,[citation needed] Subhashri starred in about thirty feature films in a variety of roles in films such asGentleman (1993),Chirabandhavya (1993),Muthu (1995),Pokiri Raja (1995),Pedarayudu (1995), andMinor Mappillai (1996).[1] Subhashri was born inChennai, her mother tongue is Telugu.[2]
