It was established in 1977 asTerrorism, obtaining its current name in 1992 whenTerrorism was merged with another journal titledConflict.[1][2] It is published byTaylor & Francis and theeditor-in-chief isBruce Hoffman (Georgetown University). The Editorial Board also includes Georgetown University Professor and authorEd Husain.[3] According to theJournal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2016impact factor of 1.071.[4]
