Stuart Farquhar is a malejavelin thrower from New Zealand. He was the silver medallist in the men's javelin at the2010 Commonwealth Games.[citation needed]
Farquhar is a twelve time New Zealand National Javelin Champion. In April 2012, he recorded a new personal best of 86.31 metres inHiroshima, Japan.[1]
He finished sixth at the2006 IAAF World Cup. He competed at the2004 Summer Olympics without reaching the final. He improved on his previous Olympic result by finishing 20th at the2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
Farquhar finished 8th in themen's javelin final at the2012 Summer Olympics with a throw of 80.22 metres, his original position 9th was upgraded in 2016 after second placedOleksandr Pyatnytsya was disqualified for doping upon retesting of his samples.[2]
