Stine Ballisager Pedersen (born 3 January 1994) is a Danish professionalfootballer who plays as adefender for the German clubBayern Munich and theDenmark national team.

Club career

Ballisager started playing football at six years old. She played youthsoccer for Vellev IF, and then for Team Viborg. In 2012, she signed withIK Skovbakken.[2]

Vålerenga, 2018–2023

Ballisager signed withVålerenga before the2018 Toppserien, and the club named her captain in the2021 season. She made 140 total appearances for the club across all competitions.[3]

Kansas City Current, 2023–2024

On 3 July 2023, American clubKansas City Current of theNational Women's Soccer League announced that they had signed Ballisager through the 2024 season, with an option for an additional year, and that she would join the team following the2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. With six months remaining on her contract, Vålerengatransferred her for an undisclosed fee but stated that it was the largest in club history.[3]

On 19 December 2024, the Kansas City Current announced that Ballisager had departed the club.[4]

In January 2025 she signed with Fiorentina till June 2026.[5]

Bayern Munich, 2025–

On 19 May 2025, Ballisager signed a contract with FC Bayern Munich until 2027.[6]

International career

Ballisager played for several youth Danish national teams. In 2012, she debuted for thesenior national team in a match againstBrazil.[7] She was also part of the team which represented Denmark at theUEFA Women's Euro 2017,[8] where they reached the competition final for the first time in history, but eventually lost to theNetherlands.[9]

On 20 June 2025, Ballisager was called up to the Danish squad for theUEFA Women's Euro 2025.[10]
