Steven Kakuna Kari (born 13 May 1993 inPort Moresby) is aPapua New Guineanweightlifter competing in the men's 85 kg and later 94 kg category.

The youngest member of the Papua New Guinea team, he finished 15th at the2012 Summer Olympics.[1] Kari won the gold medal at the2011 Pacific Games.[2]

Kari won gold at the2014 Commonwealth Games in theMen's 94 kg class.[3]
