Stephen Kelly PettersonMNZM (born 2 August 1957) is acompetitive rifle shooter from New Zealand.
Petterson was born inAuckland in 1957. A veteran of fourOlympic Games and fiveCommonwealth Games, he has won a total of four gold medals and a silver medal at theCommonwealth Games.[1] He was the flag bearer for New Zealand at the closing ceremony of the1994 Commonwealth Games.
In the1999 New Year Honours, Petterson was appointed aMember of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to smallbore rifle shooting.[2]
