TheSteinbach–Cookman Building is located on Cookman Avenue in the city ofAsbury Park inMonmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The historic commercial building was built from 1896 to 1897 and was added to theNational Register of Historic Places on July 8, 1982, for its significance in architecture and commerce.[1] The five story brick building features Second Renaissance Revival architecture. It was the flagship store of theSteinbach department store chain.[3] It was listed as a contributing property of theAsbury Park Commercial Historic District on September 30, 2014.[4]
