Stefane Pereira Rosa (born 12 May 1999), simply known asStefane, is a Brazilianfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper forSantos.
Born inRio de Janeiro, Stefane played for local side Team Chicago Brasil as a youth before making her senior debut withVitória das Tabocas in 2017. On 20 March 2018, she and her sister moved toFlamengo.[4]
Stefane joinedInternacional ahead of the 2019 season, but moved to the United States and joinedMonroe College'sMonroe Mustangs.[2] In 2020, amidst theCOVID-19 pandemic, she returned to Brazil and played forIranduba,[5]3B da Amazônia[6] andReal Brasília[7] before returning to the Mustangs in 2021.[2]
After an impressive 2021 season, Stefane was included in theNSCAA Women's Division I All-American First Team of the season.[8] She then joinedNova Southeastern University'sNova Southeastern Sharks for the 2022 campaign,[3] and also played eightUSL W League matches forAFC Ann Arbor,[9] having joined the side on 7 March 2022.[10]
On 2 July 2024, Stefane returned to her home country and signed a contract withSantos until December 2025.[11]
Stefane was called up to theBrazil national under-17 team for the2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, but was a backup option. She was also second-choice with theunder-20s in the2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, before receiving a call-up tothe full side in August 2017, as coachEmily Lima only called up players from theNortheast Region for a period of trainings.[12][13]
Andressa'stwin sisterAndressa is also a footballer who plays as acentre-back. Both played together at Vitória and Flamengo.[14]
