An outdoor bronze sculpture depicting Venezuelan military and political leaderSimón Bolívar (1783–1830), byHugo Daini, is located at the south-east corner ofBelgrave Square inLondon, United Kingdom.[1][2][3][4] The statue was unveiled byJames Callaghan, thenSecretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, laterPrime Minister of the United Kingdom, in 1974.[2][5]

The names of countries liberated by Bolívar are inscribed on the base.[5]
