Stanley John Dragoti (October 4, 1932 – July 13, 2018) was an Americanfilm director whose work includes the comediesLove at First Bite andMr. Mom.[1][2]
Dragoti was born inNew York City toAlbanian parents, both having emigrated in the 1920s from the district ofTepelenë, in SouthernAlbania. His interest in cinematography led him toCooper Union College in New York and later to theVisual Arts College. He also produced ads for theair travel andautomobile industry, and directed ads for theI❤ NY campaign.[3]
Dragoti died on July 13, 2018, in Los Angeles at the age of 85.[4] He underwent open-heart surgery in 2014.[4]
