St. Mary's Alpine Provincial Park is aprovincial park inBritish Columbia, Canada. According to theCanadian Ministry of the Environment:
St. Mary’s Alpine Park is a wilderness paradise for the experienced backcountry traveller. Numerouslakes andtarns are tucked against ruggedgranitecliffs and surrounded bytundra and lingering snowfields. Sevencreeks drain thelakes, resulting in numerouswaterfalls and cataracts, some as much as 150 metres in height. Experiencedhikers, willing to expend considerable effort inbushwhacking and route finding should visit thisprotected area where few, if any, people will be encountered.[1]
