Srđan Vasiljević (Serbian Cyrillic:Срђан Васиљевић; born 1 April 1973) is a Serbianfootball manager and former player.
Vasiljević came through the youth system ofRed Star Belgrade. He went on to play forRadnički Beograd,Borac Čačak (twice),Obilić,Rad andSartid Smederevo, before moving abroad. In early 2001, Vasiljević signed with Romanian clubDinamo București.[1] He then joinedKazakhstan Premier League sideKairat in 2002, appearing in nine championship gamesthat year.[2] Vasiljević also made two appearances in the2002–03 UEFA Cup.
After hanging up his boots, Vasiljević managed Serbian clubsJavor Ivanjica (twice),Čukarički, andBSK Borča. He also served as assistant manager toVladimir Petrović andRadovan Ćurčić with theSerbia national team. In December 2017, Vasiljević was appointed manager of theAngola national team.[3] He left the position by mutual consent in August 2019.[4]
On 15 July 2023, Vasiljević was appointed as manager of Saudi Arabian clubAl-Batin.[5] He left the club by mutual consent on 13 September 2023.[6]
